Global Warming- A Compulsory Subject in School Syllabus
Global warming issue has now become as large as globe and reaching to everybody those who are somehow connected to news world and those who are living in cities, towns and literate. But the efforts should be put to aware and educate each and every people in this world.
And it should be introduced as a separate subject in School sylabus like other subjects so that from very beginning our children should know about it.
Our aim and motto to spread this message to each and every child about this fact, hence, we say- "We do not inherit the World from our ancenstor, We borrow it from our Children"
INDELIBLE-DAL
I had to go
Tirtharaj Prayag with family to immerse Asthi of my grandparents in Ganges. I
was inquiring and gathering information before leaving Puri. Tickets were
booked and mean time my Father in law gave a contact of a person from Allahabad
who happens to got married in the same village and I came to know he married a
widow having a son who was 6 years old then, that person in fact a Panda-local
priest who does all the puja and rituals in Prayag ghat. I found this would be
of great help, if you have anybody known and the family has a close connection
with my in laws house.
On arrival
at Allahabad both the lady and her son who is now twenty years, came to receive
us at station, then we all proceed to the Lodge and the next day planning was
to go to Triveni sangam for Sradha and to perform rituals. The boy Guddu was a
nice and friendly boy, mingled with us within few minutes and that Lady was
really very kind and polite to us. She first took us to her House, which is
situated very near to Ganga Ghat, upon arriving we met her Mother in Law aged
about eighty years old and her two beautiful daughters. They all welcomed us
very warmly as if we are very close to them and after the breakfast, we visited
Ganges accompanied by his son.
All the
rituals at Triveni Sangam performed done by Sharmaji and we have absolutely a
hassle free task done, as generally, there is a doubt and kind of fear in
everybody’s mind at least that Panda will cheat. Being hailed from Puri, I had
no problems and qualms dealing with any Panda. Then we all came to their house
and had very delicious lunch. The most attraction was the “Dal” in the Menu.
Really, I cannot ever forget the Dal in my life time. I, my wife, my mother and
my daughter were all happy with their hospitality. We spent a very memorable
time with them. The entire family came to see off and we boarded the train.
Train
proceeded but Sharma family was still there in our mind. I was personally
really so happy and teased my Wife that you can never make that “Dal” and
overwhelmingly said to my Mother that you also cannot make this kind of “Dal”
ever. We talked about them for hours, my wife revealed a matter which shocked me
most.
The matter
was this Family from Allahabad and my Father in law family have a long time
animosity since forty years, when the Father of that lady was alive and they
have land dispute, case is pending in high court and in a regular interval this
lady the lone survivor used to come to court for appearing. This case is under
trial. I was literally shocked knowing that how come a person can be so
generous and hospitable in such condition. I could not even feel a bit of
uneasiness or qualms with the couple; they were so generous and hospitable.
There was no sign of animosity either in their words or deeds. I was so
impressed and healed to know all these things on our departure. This is perhaps
the best instance of “Atithi Devo Bhava” .
God bless them.

CULTURAL IMBALANCE IN OUR SOCIETY
IT HAS NOW BECOME VERY COMMON TREND IN PURI AND OUR SO CALLED CULTURAL & SPIRITUAL MASS IS SILENT ON THIS ISSUE- Festivals, utsavs and mohatsavs are very REGULAR now and being celebrated everywhere and what is common here that is nude and semi nude dance performance by girls. And also in marriage , in other function this culture has gone very deeply in our society. Irony is that everyone is silent and perhaps accepted it. Are we culturally becoming stronger or weaker ? And those organizations who works for women's dignity, vanity and equality are quite silent, very strange. Now a days any function without dancers is incomplete whether a corporate party or family get together and no one minds playing fondling in-front of others. One more additional ritual has been added here that is bachelor party before marriage and every thing , literally everything is allowed by parents to their children. It surprises me that our society is really moving forward towards an open and nude era. One more thing to add our songs - really keep pacing with the dance theme. Wah.. shame on us. IT BECOMES THE DUTY OF YOUTH TO STOP THIS !

Atithi Devo Bhava
“Atithi
Devo Bhavo”- is the tag line of India's Ministry of Tourism's campaign to improve the treatment of tourists
in India. We all Indians consider our Guests as God; this is in our culture,
tradition since ages. It is believed when a Guest arrives at your place; he
brings prosperity with him, spreads happiness among all and becomes a part of
your life. Particularly, our Service & Hospitality sector has abided this
mantra to its fullest. The client or customer in hospitality sector is regarded
as God. God is always right and he has every right to be pleased whatever the circumstances
are. We in hospitality sector are told making the “God” dissatisfied is an
intolerable offence with a grave consequence.
Grow Up Friends!
When everything is getting changed in our thought process and the
perception to visualize the World is also changing, we should also reconsider. Ours
hospitality is a slavery hospitality.
The Guests are masters and the employee is
his slave. Gone are the days of Monarchy rule when people bent on their waist
to wish someone.
Anyone can clearly glimpse it in any of the Hotel, Restaurant, Club or
any other service related sector how a Guest behaves towards a waiter, room
boy, or to a bell boy or anybody from whom they are expecting hospitality as a
right. In this business of give and take relationship the service is returned
against the amount a guest paid for, which off course, is intangible and cannot
be measured properly. To get 100% satisfaction of money spent lies on a
customer’s or so called guest’s behavior towards staff (service provider) only.
It can be easily noticed in case of a foreigner guest and everyone in this
sector would agree in this point, while delivering the services to a foreigner,
they give their fullest for not anticipating a good tip but for his friendly
approach and appreciation. He (Guest) makes the service provider happy
considering him as a fellow human being, respecting him as a friend,
appreciating and by showing his gratitude. Staff feels somehow relieved that he has still
his dignity and the work he does, not bad, some people also appreciate his work.
So is thy Guest.
The time now has been evolved towards an era of self service where there
would be no one to serve you. The man will be replaced by a machine or a Robert
will be at your service, neither it will understand you nor your corporate and family
background, will not judge your surname you bear and also not afraid of your
bank balance and to whom you cannot say “ You know who am I ? “.
So, never again expect to hear this line- “Extremely sorry sir, it is my
fault and sorry for the inconvenience. Please, please give me another chance,
it will not reoccur again. Thank you Sir….But
in his heart he is saying “Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge” Author: Deekay
